KFD2‑SCD2‑EX2.LK is a 2‑channel intrinsically safe SMART current driver isolated barrier from Pepperl+Fuchs (P&F) K‑System series, designed for safe signal transmission between control‑side automation systems and HART‑enabled field instruments located in hazardous explosive areas. This galvanic isolation module repeats 4‑20 mA control signals to drive I/P converters, valve positioners and solenoid valves, supporting bidirectional HART digital communication superimposed on analog loops. Built‑in line fault detection (LFD) monitors open‑circuit and short‑circuit field wiring conditions.
