The measurement principle relies on ultrasonic sound wave emission: the transducer sends sound pulses toward the liquid or solid surface, records echo travel time, and converts time-of-flight data into linear level, volume or distance values via internal signal processing. Non-contact operation avoids direct medium contact, making the FMU30-1020/0 immune to corrosion, abrasion, sticky coating, and medium viscosity interference common to contact-type level sensors. Advanced digital echo suppression filters out false signals from tank walls, internal pipes, agitators and surface foam to stabilize measurement accuracy.
