The Beckhoff EK1100 is the standard EtherCAT coupler in Beckhoff EK series fieldbus accessories, designed to bridge 100BASE-TX EtherCAT industrial Ethernet networks and E-bus EtherCAT terminal stacks (EL series I/O modules). As a core industrial automation component, EK1100 converts standard Ethernet EtherCAT telegrams to E-bus differential signal transmission, supporting cascading connection of up to 65,535 EtherCAT slave terminals within a single station. Equipped with dual RJ45 copper interfaces, the Beckhoff EK1100 realizes daisy-chain network layout for production lines, packaging machinery, robotic control and process monitoring systems. With 2000mA E-bus power supply output, wide temperature tolerance and global industrial certifications, the EK1100 Beckhoff coupler delivers stable low-latency communication (≈1μs forwarding delay) for high-speed distributed motion control and analog/digital signal acquisition scenarios.
