This unit integrates two core patented Phoenix Contact technologies: POWER BOOST and Selective Fuse Breaking (SFB). POWER BOOST delivers a stable 45A permanent extra current within -25°C to +40°C ambient to start high-inrush loads such as DC motors, contactors and solenoid banks. SFB outputs a 215A short-circuit peak for 12ms to selectively blow branch circuit fuses without tripping upstream cabinet breakers, maximizing system uptime. A floating potential-free relay contact provides remote diagnostics for overvoltage, undervoltage, overheating and power failure alerts. Wide universal 85–264V AC input eliminates regional voltage matching requirements, while >92% energy efficiency minimizes cabinet heat buildup. Compliant with global industrial safety, EMC and environmental standards, the unit is widely deployed in machine automation, packaging production lines, material handling systems and process control electrical enclosures.
