The IFM IFT203 is a robust shielded inductive proximity sensor engineered for precise non-contact metal detection in hygienic and harsh industrial environments. As a high-performance member of IFM’s inductive sensor portfolio, the IFT203 features an extended sensing range, premium 316L stainless steel housing, and professional washdown resistance, making it ideal for food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and sanitary automated production systems.
Designed with a standard M12 threaded shielded structure and 4 mm rated sensing distance, the IFM IFT203 delivers stable and accurate detection of various metal materials with calibrated correction coefficients for different metal types. It adopts a DC PNP normally open output design, supporting a 10–30 V DC wide operating voltage range and 800 Hz high-speed switching frequency, fully compatible with mainstream industrial PLC and automation control systems.
