The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS240E power supply is a 1606-XLS series switched-mode power supply that features an input voltage range of 100 to 240 Volts AC. The 1606-XLS240E power supply comes with an output power of 240 Watts and with the spring clamp terminals. The Allen-Bradley switched-mode power supply has a small size that allows for a safe and fast installation process. The output current features a continuous output current of 10 Amps and it is designed for high-powered short-term requirements without damage or shutdown. The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS power supplies feature a short-term peak power capability of 150% while it also comes with large output capacitors for helping to start motors, changing capacitors while absorbing the reverse energy, and allowing a power unit with a low wattage rating to be used.

The 1606-XLS240E power supply features a high level of immunity to transients and power surges while delivering low electromagnetic emissions in various environments. The unique quick connect spring clamp terminal allows for a safe and fast installation process for the unit. The 1606-XLS240E power supply comes with active inrush limitation circuitry to control the input inrush current after turning on the input voltage and after a short input voltage interruption. The 1606-XLS240E power supply has an output voltage potentiometer which is designed as a multi-turn potentiometer. On the front, it comes with LED indicators that help to achieve simplified diagnosis and monitoring processes. It also features the BI-Stable quick connect spring clamp terminals with the IP 20 rated finger-safe construction that is suitable for field and factory installation.
